Kanaole'ka

Kanaole'ka (also known as "Kanian" in Ezeran) is a sister language to Tak'auea, and a cousin language to Yauli. It is spoken in the north of Hadena, mostly in Kaniua'ina. Kanaole'ka and Tak'auea both dirive from the same root language, known as Ka'ene. Kanaole'ka's appearence is based off hawaiian, and has many epiglottal plosive sounds throughout the words (represented by apostrophies), though only in some dialects. Kanaole'ka uses many suffixes instead of words, and uses subject-object-verb order. Kanaole'ka is an endagered language, and is only spoken by around 25% of Kaniua'ina, and around 5% in all of Hadena.

Accents

As mentioned previously, Kanaole'ka contains epiglottal plosives, but only in some dialects. In the north of Kaniua'ina, in cities like Levo'a and Tana'a, it is more common to have the accent that includes the epiglottal stop. In most other places, the sound is reduced to nothing.
